Can the Tech-Air® System be integrated into non-Alpinestars gear?Updated a month ago

The Tech-Air® System must be used with an outer protective garment as it is not abrasion resistant. It is generally recommended to the user to choose an outer protective garment that, when worn over a Tech-Air® System, does not cause discomfort or  prevent functionality of the system.

 Alpinestars offers many Tech-Air® compatible outer garments. The system can also be used with any third party abrasion resistant garment that covers the upper body and is designed for motorcycles, provided that the garment has sufficient space to allow for the expansion of the airbag in case of deployment. 

 If the garment you have chosen is a leather garment, it is highly recommended that it has stretch panels to accommodate a deployed airbag. Please also ensure any protectors present are correctly positioned.
